About STARS
Short Term Residential Treatment Programs (STRTP’s) provide more intensive care and supervision, services and supports, treatment, and short-term 24-hour care and supervision of children/youth/NMDs than previously required in group home settings.
The STRTP rate approved by CCL generally covers:

Supervision
Core mental health services
Treatment programming
Basic transportation
Case coordination
Our STRTP provides comprehensive therapeutic care and support for youth in a safe, structured environment, fostering their emotional and psychological healing while preparing them for successful transitions.
Individual and Group Therapy: Tailored therapeutic sessions addressing trauma, behavioral issues, and emotional well-being, facilitated by licensed clinicians.
Educational Support: Academic tutoring and support to ensure educational progress and stability during the stay.
Life Skills Development:
Programs focused on building essential life skills, including conflict resolution, self-care, and independent living preparation.
